Choosing the right magnetic tape product to hold a product is critical. Here are some options to consider:

Generally, a .060” thick, 1” x 12” magnetic strip will hold approximately 6.50 lbs. of product, with a zero-air gap.  

For more holding power, consider TUFFMAG^® HE (Hi Energy) tape. A .125” thick, 1” x 12” magnetic strip will hold approximately 18 lbs. of product, with a zero-air gap.
